The Papua New Guinea Sculpture Garden is located at 476 Lomita Dr, Stanford, CA 94305. These sculptures are in a forest like grove featuring wood and stone carvings of people, animals, creatures, that show stories created by people from Papua New Guinea.  In 1994 10 artists were flown to Stanford from Papua New Guinea to carve these sculptures. It took four months for the project to be completed on site. This is a beautiful, quiet, artistic place to take your child(ren.) It is a place where someone can learn about art from another culture that is place in a western setting.  (Note: There are some sculptures here showing private parts of human anatomy- if you or your child is uncomfortable with this it may not be the place for you.)  For more information click HERE!
